Building the influencer

Locking a persona so 300 posts look like one person

01

Write the character bible before you generate anything

Before a single image is produced, write down the things that must never change: face, approximate age, hair colour and length, body type, wardrobe palette, typical setting, lighting style and camera framing. Then write the personality: what she finds funny, what she is confident about, what she is insecure about, how she speaks.

This document is not creative garnish. It is a technical specification. Every generation gets checked against it, and anything that violates it is discarded rather than posted. The temptation to post an off-model image because it looks good in isolation is the single most common way accounts lose their identity.

Specificity beats richness here. Three locked attributes held perfectly are worth more than fifteen attributes held loosely.

02

Fighting drift

Generative models drift. Run the same prompt across a hundred outputs and the face slowly migrates. Left unmanaged, your month-three content features a visibly different person from month one, and the character advantage you were building silently evaporates.

Two practical defences. First, anchor on reference images rather than text alone - keep a small canonical set of approved stills and drive new generations from those. Second, audit in batches: line up thirty consecutive outputs and look at them as a grid, not individually. Drift is invisible frame to frame and obvious in aggregate.

Discard aggressively. A realistic keep rate is somewhere between one in four and one in ten. That number matters directly for module five: at a one-in-five keep rate, sixty published posts a month means generating around three hundred. Budget for that from day one or the cadence collapses in week two.

The profile is a landing page - treat it like one

Almost every profile visit arrives from one video, meaning the visitor knows exactly one thing about you. The profile has to answer, in about three seconds: who is this, why should I care, and is anyone else paying attention.

Concretely: a clean avatar that reads at thumbnail size, a bio that states the persona in one line rather than listing adjectives, a grid whose first nine thumbnails share a visual signature, and a follower count that does not signal abandonment.

This is the cheapest conversion-rate work available to you, and conversion rate is one of only two dials. Front-load a handful of your genuinely strongest posts before pushing any volume. The first nine tiles are load-bearing far beyond their own view counts, because they are what every future visitor evaluates you on.

What to take from this module

  • Write a character bible and treat it as a spec, not a mood board.
  • Audit in grids of thirty - drift is invisible one frame at a time.
  • Plan for a 1-in-5 keep rate: 60 posts a month means ~300 generations.
  • Disclose that the persona is AI. It is cheap insurance.
  • Your first nine thumbnails are the real landing page.
